Our Approach
To maintain an expert and efficient service we ensure the following:-
- That a practical, commercially focused approach and a prompt, efficient and quality service is a central part of our approach and the training and development of our lawyers. We recognise that the matters on which we are instructed are often time critical and we ensure that our clients receive our input within the timescales they demand. In this regard we ensure that our lawyers are available to them whether within or outside office hours and that our Partners have access to E-Mail remotely.
- The appointment of a Partner to each individual client/project responsible for primary legal issues and for continuing oversight/control of each case. We delegate work to Associates to the extent that the Partner responsible considers appropriate and to ensure cost efficiencies for the client while maintaining a level of expertise appropriate to the project.
- Regular in-house training in the form of Solicitors seminars to discuss new legislation and developments in the legal and business arenas and to share ideas and experience.
- Regular attendance by our lawyers at external training and continuing legal education programmes.

We believe that we provide a cost efficient yet very high quality service. We charge on the basis of hourly rates which will depend on the seniority of the individual involved, however we have the flexibility to agree alternative rates if appropriate for a particular client or project. It is our policy to endeavour to agree a fee in advance of any given transaction, we find that this approach works well for ourselves and our clients and is not an approach that legal firms are always willing to discuss.
We are also happy to discuss and agree alternative fee structures such as scale fees.
It is the policy of the firm to ensure that we stay up to date with advances in technology and we have made significant investment in the most up to date technology to optimise the service we provide to our clients. We have invested in the Keyhouse practice management system management system which co-ordinates our accounting, document management and time recording functions. We also have up to the minute scanning systems to ensure efficient document management and to keep electronic copies of all of our files.
